Undergraduate Research Presentation Night

04-24-2023

On April 20, the math department hosted a presentation night for undergraduate math research. Six undergraduate students presented the research projects they had done during the past year. The research topics covered various areas of pure and applied mathematics including partial differential equations, mathematical physics, abstract algebra, probability theory, and statistics. The presentation night program was attended by a number of other undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty. The Department of Mathematics at Purdue is committed to increasing the number of undergraduate students at Purdue engaged in mathematics research. Students who are interested in finding out more about research opportunities (both internal and external to Purdue) can find more information at https://www.math.purdue.edu/research/undergraduate.html.Students who presented research:
